Effective September 12, 2026. CareFloat is operated by BrightPath Home Care LLC. These terms describe use of the CareFloat pilot.

What CareFloat provides

CareFloat coordinates caregiver opportunities and coverage. It does not employ or pay caregivers, process payroll, bill Medicaid, perform EVV, verify credentials, or maintain clinical records. Each agency is responsible for hiring, onboarding, background checks, training, payroll, supervision, documentation, and compliance.

Accounts and agency clearance

Provide accurate information, protect your login, and use only accounts and agency data you are authorized to access. You must be at least 18. Clearance is separate for each agency; joining the network or expressing interest does not authorize you to work for another agency.

Shifts and assignments

Expressing interest does not assign a shift. An agency makes the final selection and must confirm the caregiver is eligible. Rates are offered and paid directly by the agency. CareFloat does not guarantee hours, assignments, or filled shifts. Confirm urgent changes directly with the agency; do not rely on text delivery for emergencies.

Optional SMS program

CareFloat text updates include eligible open shifts, assignments, schedule changes, cancellations, and caregiver-pool invitations. CareFloat identifies the relevant agency in messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, employment, or use of CareFloat.

Opt in or withdraw consent at SMS preferences. Text delivery is being configured. When active, reply STOP to unsubscribe from all CareFloat messages or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Notify us if your number changes. Support is available through BrightPath Home Care; mention CareFloat.

Appropriate use and privacy

Do not post false information, harass users, share account access, or access another agency’s private data. Do not upload medical records, Medicaid IDs, or unnecessary sensitive client information. See our Privacy Policy for information about data use and SMS consent.

Pilot availability

The pilot may change or experience interruptions. Access may be restricted for misuse or security concerns. These terms do not replace agency employment agreements or limit rights that cannot be waived by law. We will post material changes here with an updated effective date.
