CareFloat

Privacy Policy

Effective September 12, 2026. CareFloat is operated by BrightPath Home Care LLC.

Information we collect

We collect account and contact information, caregiver profile details, availability, service preferences, agency relationships, shift posts, expressions of interest, assignments, and notification preferences. We also keep consent records and operational security logs. Agency-approved visit details are available only to authorized users.

How we use and share information

We use this information to operate CareFloat, coordinate shift opportunities, protect accounts, and provide support. Agencies access their own relationships, shifts, and assignments. Caregivers choose whether to appear in the network directory; joining an agency or expressing interest makes the relevant information available to that agency. Agencies separately manage employment and onboarding.

Service providers such as Supabase, Vercel, and Twilio process information as needed to host the application, secure accounts, and deliver notifications. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

Mobile information and SMS consent

We do not sell personal information. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers necessary to operate the messaging program. SMS consent is for CareFloat notifications and is not transferred to participating agencies for their own messaging campaigns.

Text alerts are optional. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent in SMS preferences. When texting launches, you may also reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.

Client privacy

Do not enter Medicaid IDs, clinical records, or unnecessary medical information. Exact client addresses and approved visit instructions are restricted to the owning agency and eligible assigned caregivers. SMS messages should not contain client names, exact addresses, or medical information.

Security, retention, and your choices

We use account authentication and database access controls. No system can guarantee complete security. We retain information as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain records of consent and withdrawal. You can edit your profile and notification preferences. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion; some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.

CareFloat uses cookies needed for login and session security. Demo data is fictional and may be stored in your browser. The service is intended for adults.
